Shruti Vaikhary (aka Dr. V)
Dr. Shruti Vaikhary has been caring for pets and their people for over 20 years. She earned her veterinary degree from Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), completed her clinical year at Cornell University, and holds a Master’s degree in Pharmacology.
Her love for animals is deeply personal. After losing her puppy Blackie, she committed her life to helping pets live healthier, happier lives. Her clinical focus includes preventative care, internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, and ophthalmology, with care always tailored to each pet’s lifestyle. She also brings years of emergency medicine experience.
Dr. Vaikhary has proudly owned this independent, non-corporate veterinary practice since 2014, where pets are treated like family. She is actively involved in the local community and is passionate about mentoring students and young graduates—supporting their journey to become registered veterinary technicians and veterinarians.
She lives in Marin County with her husband Neelesh, their daughter Esha (at NYU), and their cat Pollyjean.
